Dr. Norm's Biography

Dr. Norman Campbell is an ordained minister. He is a Doctor of Divinity and he has ministered around the world in Churches and Seminaries for over 35 years, having great success in motivating Church Leaders and laymen alike to act on God's Word instead of the circumstances. He was born into a Presbyterian family in Northern Ireland in 1943. In his lifetime he has held a variety of responsible positions in various businesses including that of policeman, sales manager and credit manager all of which have all helped equip him for his calling as an Ephesians 4:11 Teacher and Author to The Body of Christ world wide.

Then while working in the early sixties, he was seriously injured in a car wreck and became a registered disabled person. His left leg was smashed in five places, which necessitated 14 months in hospital and a serious battle with gangrene. At this time he found Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It was a long road to total recovery and wholeness, with many obstacles to overcome. His wife Elizabeth; already a committed Christian prayed for God to ‘capture’ Norman, and save and heal him however she did not contemplate him in The Ministry. In 1971 after coming to Australia with his young family, a traveling Evangelist called Norm Armstrong prayed with Norman about his leg injury. In an instant of time The Lord wonderfully and miraculously replaced the two and a half inches [5 cm’s.] of bone which had been taken out by the medical profession nearly nine years previously.

After pastoring and pioneering several [7] churches, Norman felt The Lord made His call to travel and teach God's people the reality of The Word as a lifestyle for daily living. The mandate given was TO TAKE GOD'S WORD TO GOD’S PEOPLE AND TAKE THEM FROM WHERE THEY WERE IN THEIR EXPERIENCE TO WHERE GOD SAYS THEY ARE IN HIS WORD. Dr. Campbell pioneered the Word of Faith in Australia and was recommended by Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin as the ONLY man in Australia in 1978 who was teaching Faith That Really Works at that time.

He is the author of Bible Courses which are being used by congregations across the world as a basis for their teaching programs. Norm regularly taught Rhema Australia in Brisbane and in Rhema Ministry School of The Word in Papua New Guinea and has officiated at the graduation of the students. He also teaches in Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries in Manila Philippines. Many terminal illnesses have been healed by God's power, as well as six people being raised from the dead in the past nine years for God's glory. One recorded in September 1991. He demonstrates a remarkable confidence in God’s Word, and communicates this to his listeners. He does many seminars with business and networking people on areas of business including the financial realm. His seminar “BROKE IS TEMPORARY BUT POOR IS AN ATTITUDE!’ has brought great financial breakthroughs wherever he teaches the program. The ministry also has a finance company which is managed by his son Ian. Camps, conventions and seminars have been particularly effective, with this teaching ministry, as it is a HOW TO DO IT approach in the teaching. In 2007 2 conventions are booked for Rhema Family Church in Papua New Guinea
